I am not a golfer. I’ve never been a “ball-and-stick sports” kind of girl, preferring instead to run, bike, or board my way around for fun. But I can definitely see the appeal of golf – it combines physical activity, skill, and balance in an open outdoor setting. Golf is a mental exercise, for sure; a meditation even.

In case you missed it, the Lake Tahoe ski resorts are currently are reaping the rewards of series of powerful Pacific storms that dropped more than two feet of fresh snow over the last six days at summit elevations, allowing the ski resorts to open additional chairlifts and terrain. The recent snowfall looks to be the start of a promising December with forecasters calling for additional accumulations over the next few weeks.
