[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Looking for a good time both on and off the slopes? Mt. Rose has you covered! Locals make this the place for a good party, and the unique annual events hosted by Mt. Rose are guaranteed to be entertaining.

From the pre-season rail jam series to the Santa Ski Crawl and the annual Bavarian Fest, Mt. Rose’s non-traditional ski events are fun for the whole family!

Don your Santa suit and join the fun at the annual Santa Ski Crawl. During this event, the slopes are filled with Santas, Kris Kringles and more, as those in full Santa costumes will be invited to purchase a discounted lift ticket.

Ring in 2016 with a bang and enjoy the fireworks at Mt. Rose’s New Year’s Spectacular on New Year’s Eve, and don’t pass up spring events like the Local Brewski or the Tahoe Burner Ski and Greet. Discounted lift tickets are offered o those dressed in full “Burner” wear, themed after the popular Burning Man event held annually in Nevada.

All this and more will take place at Mt. Rose this winter, and the resort is gearing up for its earliest scheduled opening on record. Mark your calendar, and plan to join us at Mt. Rose on October 29, 2015 for the mountain’s opening day (weather and conditions permitting).
