[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text] A groomed run is a thing of beauty. Who doesn’t love looking down a slope of immaculate corduroy that appears to be just waiting for your edges to grab hold and carve turns? The Ski Lake Tahoe resorts boast fantastic grooming and provide a multitude of options for all ability levels.  Below are some of our favorites.

At Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, Big Bonanza on the Slide Bowl side offers expansive views of the Nevada desert. Take the Magnum Express or Lakeview lift to access Kit Carson Bowl, a wide groomer that takes you back to the Main Lodge.

Northstar California’s legendary corduroy is found across the mountain on runs of all levels. For those seeking out the best carving down an impeccably groomed slope, Lookout Mountain is a favorite spot for big, sweeping turns. Washoe and Martis are the two fan-favorite groomed runs here.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”704″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows’ reputation may be for its extreme skiing, but it is home to a variety of groomed runs for all abilities. Ramp Run, located off of Gold Coast, is a gentle and wide run, great for intermediate skiers and riders. Upper intermediate skiers and riders should check out the tree runs located off Shirley Lake Express. On the other side of the mountain, the Resort at Squaw Creek run, located off Red Dog Chair, provides stunning views of Lake Tahoe with a healthy dose of corduroy.

If you’re on the Alpine Meadows side, Lakeview Chair provides a great 2’fer – stunning views of Lake Tahoe along with intermediate groomers.

Sierra-at-Tahoes Sugar N’ Spice beginner run allows skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels a way to enjoy a top-to-bottom run. Enjoy views of Lake Tahoe at the top and then cruise down this awesome 2.5 mile run with the entire family.

When at Kirkwood, advanced skiers and snowboarders don’t want to miss Sentinel Bowl. This is a single black diamond run that always gets Kirkwood’s unique high angle grooming. Sentinel is super smooth, fast and almost completely fall-line the whole way down.

Heavenly’s go-to groomer is Ridge Run on the California side. No other run can complete with its unobstructed, sweeping views of Lake Tahoe. It will take your breath away every time (and not just from the altitude).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_single_image image=”702″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”1030×682″][vc_column_text]At Sugar Bowl, advanced skiers and snowboarders will enjoy steep corduroy on the East Face, a black diamond groomer located off the Disney Express Chairlift.

Homewood’s signature top-to-bottom groomed run is Rainbow Ridge to Homeward Bound, also a beginner run that’s perfect for all abilities. One of the unique aspects of Homewood is its top-to-bottom beginner terrain, which allows those still learning to ski or snowboard to enjoy the incredible views of Lake Tahoe available on top of the mountain.
