At Heavenly Ski & Ride School we believe that learning to ski or snowboard doesn’t have to be hard. We also believe that fun isn’t everything, but it’s most things. We believe in hiring coaches who are teachers and not just really awesome skiers and riders, although they tend to be that too. And we believe that if you have a problem, we can solve it.

Beginner Lessons

Guess what? Skiing and riding are kind of hard at first. That’s because we’re just not used to having our feet strapped to planks. Take a beginner lesson or two and you or your child will not only feel more comfortable with your feet strapped to planks, but you might even start feeling the early stages of addiction. This is natural. Go with it.

What to expect:

  • Give you the skills to make you successful
  • Learning about your equipment and the mountain environment
  • A safe environment for your learning and development
  • A fun and social experience
  • You’ll find the addictive nature of sliding on the mountain

Intermediate Lessons

Sure plateaus can be comfortable, but they can also get boring fast. Our coaches are experts at helping you break through your comfort zones so you can get to a better place. A place that might not seem quite as comfortable as that old plateau, but it’s a heckuva lot more fun.

What to expect:

  • Find your own comfort and enjoyment on the mountain
  • Advancing from Green runs into Blue runs
  • Refining your fundamentals and discovering new places
  • Developing confidence in a social and fun environment

Expert Lessons

If you’re reading this section you or your child probably are really good skiers or riders. Our expert lessons cater to those accomplished skiers and riders who want to get that much better, and you can always get better. Heck, even pros still take lessons and we’re guessing you’re not a pro. But if you are, would you mind signing our website? We’re huge fans.

What to expect:

  • Identifying your strengths and growth areas for continued improvement
  • Exploring any challenge on the mountain including trees, moguls, steeps, powder, racing, carving, crud, or park
  • Chasing new friends down new challenges
  • You’ll be with top coaches exploring places you never knew existed

Private Lessons

Private lessons are a wonderful thing. Whether for you or your kids, our private lessons allow our coaches to really focus on you and what you’d like to get out of it. Because sometimes it’s nice to have things be all about you once in a while. But be careful, too many private lessons, and you might start feeling entitled, like you’re maybe somehow better than everyone else.

What to expect:

  • You can structure your private lesson however you choose, whether it’s fun-for-the-whole-family or your own private mountain experience
  • Improving at your own speed, where your comfort is number one
  • Exclusive ski school lift lanes provide quick access to the slopes
  • You go where you want to go when you want to go there
