About Six-Pack Tickets
1.) How exactly does the Six-Pack work?
The Lake Tahoe Six-Pack is comprised of 6 individual vouchers, which include:

  • 1 ticket valid at either Heavenly, Kirkwood or Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe
  • 1 ticket valid at either Heavenly or Sierra-at-Tahoe
  • 1 ticket valid at either Kirkwood or Sierra-at-Tahoe
  • 1 ticket valid at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows or Mt. Rose–Ski Tahoe
  • 1 ticket valid at Squaw Valley or Northstar California
  • 1 ticket valid at Alpine Meadows or Northstar California

The vouchers are clearly marked with the name and logo of the resorts they are valid at.

2.) Are there any restrictions on the Six-Pack vouchers?
Each voucher is valid only at the resorts indicated (e.g. one valid at either Sierra-at-Tahoe™ OR Kirkwood, another voucher valid at either Squaw OR Northstar, etc.). The vouchers cannot be used, exchanged or upgraded at other resorts not indicated on the voucher. Only 1 voucher per Six-Pack can be redeemed at a single resort per day.

3.) Can I buy a Six-Pack without blackout dates?
No. The Six-Pack is only available in one increment (6 days) and with blackout dates.

4.) Is there a children’s, senior’s or group rate for the Six-Pack?
No, there is only one rate for everyone.

5.) Is each voucher valid for a full day ticket or just a half day ticket?
Each voucher can be exchanged for a full day adult lift ticket at the resorts listed on the voucher.

6.) Can I order a Six-Pack in different increments, like 5 days?
No, the Six-Pack is only offered as 6 tickets valid at 7 resorts.

7.) Can I order a Six-Pack with additional tickets to a particular ski resort?
No, the Six-Pack is only offered as 6 tickets valid at 7 resorts.

8.) Does the Six-Pack include equipment rental?
No, the Six-Pack vouchers are each valid for one full-day lift ticket only

9.) Are there blackout dates?
Yes, the blackout dates for 2016/17 include the following periods: November 25-26, 2016; December 26-31, 2016; January 14-15, 2017; February 18-19, 2017.

10.) When does the Six-Pack expire?
April 30, 2017 or at the end of the 2016/17 winter season.

11.) If I use one voucher in late November, do I have to use the rest of the vouchers within a set time frame?
No. There is no required time frame for redemption, only that they be used before they expire on April 30, 2017 or at the end of the 2016/17 winter season.

12.) Do I need to use the vouchers over consecutive days?
No. The Six-Pack can be used anytime over the season before April 30, 2017 or at the end of the 2016/17 winter season. It does not have to be redeemed over consecutive days.

13.) Can I share the tickets with my friend so we can both ski the same resort on the same day?
No. While the tickets are interchangeable between users, only one ticket per Six-Pack may be redeemed per resort per day.  PLEASE NOTE: The shopping cart does require a name for purchase.  This is, unfortunately, part of the software we’re using, but that name will not be associated with the Six-Pack, and the tickets are still transferable!

Six-Pack Ticket Transferability

14.) Are the tickets transferable? If I can’t use them all, can I give them to my brother/lawyer/hairdresser?
Yes, tickets are interchangeable between users (unlike some lift ticket products), despite the fact that a name is required for each Six-Pack during the checkout. Please note that while you can give them to friends or share Six-Pack tickets, transferability does not mean resale ability.  Put simply, you cannot resell Six-Pack tickets on third-party sites like eBay, Craigs List or other auction websites.

15.) Can we split the Six-Pack between the 3 of us and use it at the same resort? If we stay for 2-3 days, can we use it at the same resort for 2 days of snowboarding or do we have to use it at another resort?
The Six-Pack is structured so that while one person may ski two days at one resort, two people splitting one may not do so on the same day. Only 1 voucher per Six-Pack may be redeemed at a single resort in a single day.

Refunds and Replacement Tickets

16.) I didn’t use any/all my vouchers this season. Can I get a refund/trade them in for next year?
No. The Six-Pack is only valid for one season, and there are NO REFUNDS and NO EXCHANGES.

17.) I’ve had to cancel my trip to Lake Tahoe. Can I get a refund on my Six-Pack tickets?
No. There are no refunds on the Six-Pack.

18.) I’ve lost my Six-Pack tickets! What can I do?
Ski Lake Tahoe assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen Six-Pack tickets. We recommend that you keep them in a safe (and easy to remember) location until you plan to use them.

Ordering and Shipping Issues
19.) When will the tickets ship?
The Six-Pack starts ships no later than late July, and in many cases earlier.  From November on orders are processed daily Monday – Friday, though expect 1-3 days for handling. Orders placed Friday – Sunday are processed on Mondays. Do note that the tickets are NOT shipped from Lake Tahoe but from a third party shipper. Please make sure to add ‘info@skilaketahoe.com’ to your address book to ensure that you receive your shipping confirmation. Once package says, “Delivered”, Ski Lake Tahoe is no longer responsible for “stolen mail”.

20.) Why do I have to provide a shipping address?
The Six-Pack is a physical ticket shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

21.) Are there any other shipping options?
No. We prefer to use USPS for its delivery tracking, which helps ensure that your valuable tickets are not lost in the mail!

22.) Why do I have to pay now for a product that I won’t receive right away?
Only a limited number of Six-Packs are sold, and demand is high, so in order to guarantee yours we require full payment at the time of order.

23.) How will I know when my Six-Pack ships?
You will receive an email notification with the USPS tracking number when the tickets ship. To ensure you receive emails from Ski Lake Tahoe, we recommend that you add info@skilaketahoe.com to your email address book. We will announce when tickets ship on our Facebook page and via Twitter as well.

24.) Help! I’m having difficulty with the ordering process!
