Homewood Rail Jam Snowboarder

Behind the scenes with the Homewood terrain park crew

It's every shredder's dream to spend a season building features, welding your own rails and driving Pisten Bully snowcats…

Not to mention the 12-14 hour grind shifts that allow for plenty of spare time. Relying on Mother Nature to bring snow to Tahoe at the right time is never an issue, so everything always goes according to plan…

The Marketing Department always has a never ending list of tasks that they want done, so you’re never bored. And on top of that, the long days and strenuous physical labor makes for a great workout plan.

Homewood free ski lesson

Free ski and snowboard lessons at Homewood

At Homewood, we have a passion for teaching skiing and snowboarding.

Whether it’s the first-timer who’s never strapped into a snowboard, the aspiring beginner who’s just breaking into parallel turns on skis, or the experienced 60-something who’s making the jump to new equipment and is looking to get the most out of it, our instructors simply love spreading the joy of skiing and riding to folks.

Sugar Bowl and Homewood

Ski Lake Tahoe welcomes two new ski resorts

When it comes to most things, more is better. More snow, more days on the slopes, more vacation time, more skis/snowboards in the quiver, more fun. So it should come as no surprise that we’re excited to announce that Ski Lake Tahoe has added more (specifically two) ski resorts as associate members – Sugar Bowl on the North Shore and Homewood Mountain Resort on the West Shore.
