In case you missed it, the Lake Tahoe ski resorts are currently are reaping the rewards of series of powerful Pacific storms that dropped more than two feet of fresh snow over the last six days at summit elevations, allowing the ski resorts to open additional chairlifts and terrain. The recent snowfall looks to be the start of a promising December with forecasters calling for additional accumulations over the next few weeks.

We love this time of year. And not just because we’re skiing and snowboarding again! We’re huge holiday fans (seriously, who can get tired of wassail?), and the Ski Lake Tahoe resorts put on their festive garb to host a slew of events this time of year that run the gamut from skiing in costume to carolers to parades to Chocolate Decadence.
