The sun is shining and the corn snow is abundant at Squaw Valley! We all know what that means: epic spring days filled with great conditions and fun! Follow the sun throughout the day, have an apres drink in the afternoon and perfect your goggle tan on one of the many sun decks. And while we all have spring fever, it's also that time of year when you need to start thinking about choosing where you'll ski and ride next season. Hard to believe, right?

October has arrived and what do we have on the brain? Well snow, of course. Our good friend BA from Tahoe Weather Discussion has even predicted that we might see some weather the first week of this month? First signs of snow in October? We’ll take it!

Craving to make some more turns this season? Here we are in May and we’re still skiing and snowboarding at Alpine! Come on over and join us for the last weekend in May. Summit and Roundhouse will be spinning from 8am to 1pm Friday-Sunday. Score on discounted lift tickets if you’re a passholder of another resort or if your friend has a Tahoe Super Pass.

March has arrived and this month at Alpine is jam packed with amazing conditions, live music and on-mountain events. With the last storm bringing 5 feet of snow, conditions could not better. We’ve had a break in snowy weather and the sun has been shining. Now that we’ve all freshened up our goggle tans, we’re ready to bring on more snow! The sun is shining and with top to bottom skiing and a killer line up of incredible events- Alpine Meadows is the place to be this February. Conditions at Alpine couldn’t be better- 2,200 acres open and 13 terrain park features in the Dance Floor and Tiegel Parks. Dance Floor is boasting two flat rails, trap rail and a hitching post. Can you say FUN?!

Sure this hasn’t been the snowy start we had all hoped for (in fact, the Sierra Nevada Mountains haven’t seen a November and December this dry and warm since immediately following the Civil War – 1879. Ouch!), but we are keeping our faith for a Fabulous February, Miracle March and Awesome April. And when it comes – as soon as next week possibly – it’ll come in feet so be ready. Here is a primer on what Alpine has to offer when conditions permits:
