March at Squaw is jam packed with killer conditions and an amazing event lineup. The first weekend in March kicks off with the Rahlve’s Banzai Tour. The Banzai is the ultimate test of skiing and riding skills for all competitors. The course is gnarly and completely ungroomed. Competitors will have to battle it out for the top score in order to qualify for the finals on Sunday. Come Sunday, the top 4 in each category will go head to head for their chance to win the title and the $15,000 purse prize. Last week, the Banzai visited Alpine and the course was intense. Check out the footage here.
The following weekend we’ll be hosting our ever popular moonlight snowshoe tours. The hike begins at High Camp where you begin your trek up to the top of Sibera at el. 8,700’. Underneath the moonlight and in the crisp mountain air- this snowshoe hike is something to experience. To reserve your spot, call 800-403-0206.
This St. Patrick’s Day join Lenny the Leprechaun on the slopes! Pack your sunscreen and your party pants, ‘cause this weekend is going off with green beer, live music and tons of fun! The first annual SnowBash commences on Friday, March 16th with DJ Magic Matt from San Francisco’s Wild 94.9 morning show. On Saturday, soak up the California sunshine at the KT Base Bar to watch L.A.vation- the world’s greatest tribute to U2 from 1 to 3:45pm. What more could you ask for?
