It’s true – winter has arrived, in the form of a generous storm that has gifted the Ski Lake Tahoe resorts with a LOT of snow this week! The seven ski resorts are reporting snow totals of 14-36 inches, and a few ski resorts have announced the start of snowmaking operations. If that’s not enough, Squaw Valley will be open for skiing and riding on Thursday, October 25 from 10 am – 2 pm, allowing snow-hungry skiers and riders to get their early season fix.
Knowing that you’re probably as eager as we are for opening day, below are those dates that have been announced. We will be updating as we learn more, so be sure to check back. And if you need more reason to plan that Lake Tahoe ski vacation (and purchase your Lake Tahoe Six-Pack tickets for only $299), we’ve got a whole playlist of ski resort videos on our Chatter page to help fuel the skiing and riding stoke.
