A paradise for skiers and riders –
Squaw has a mountaintop beginner area complete with wide, gentle runs and stunning views of Lake Tahoe so that even first timers can experience that inspiring, big mountain feeling. For the more advanced, Squaw has heaps of powder stashes, steeps, chutes and bowls. The best run? Try anything off KT-22 which is consistently ranked the #1 chairlift in North America due to the vast amount of vertical it accesses. Off the ski slopes, Squaw Valley also offers mountaintop ice skating, snowtubing and world-class shopping and dining.
The resort that never sleeps – At
Squaw, skiers and riders can ride for 12 hours straight. It offers free night skiing with every lift ticket and it keeps the lifts spinning until 9pm on weekends and 7pm on weekdays come December. New this season, they’ll be running the High Camp Chairlift for night skiing this winter, meaning that skiers and riders can shred Squaw late into the night in the Riviera Terrain Park.
