Extended Season for Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts

Spring is here, and not just on the calendar. After receiving up to 16 feet of snow in a 9 day period, the Ski Lake Tahoe resorts are celebrating both the record-breaking snowfall and the return of sunshine. Not being the types to look a gift horse in the mouth, many of the ski resorts have announced they are extending their seasons! 
 
Ski Lake Tahoe 2010/2011 season closing dates
Northstar-at-Tahoe™ - April 24th
Sierra-at-Tahoe - April 24th. April 25th will be Customer Appreciation Day with $25 lift tickets and limited resort operations from 9:00 to 2:00
Squaw Valley USA – Daily through May 8th, open Fri-Sun through May 30th, with the addition of Monday, May 16 and Monday, May 30.
Alpine Meadows – May 15th
Heavenly – April 24th
Kirkwood – May 1st
Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe – May 6th. May 7-8th will be a private ski day for Mt. Rose passholders
 
Conditions truly could not be better for spring skiing and riding, and with a plethora of terrific spring events and values, ranging from spring and early season passes to ski & stay packages, you’ve got plenty of reasons to plan at least one more Lake Tahoe ski vacation this season!
