Thanks to some early-season snow and the West Coast’s largest snowmaking system, Heavenly plans to open November 19, 2010, with the finest snow surfaces on the most open terrain that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Shortly thereafter, Heavenly will debut the new Tamarack Lodge – a 15,000-square-foot restaurant located at the top of Heavenly’s Gondola and in the middle of all the action! With 500 indoor seats, 250 outdoor seats on a sun-drenched patio, a full-service bar and trellis-covered food court, Tamarack Lodge presents a fantastic upgrade to Heavenly’s on-mountain food offerings, and we think you’ll agree that it’s one of the finest on-mountain restaurants at Lake Tahoe!

Heavenly is adding a new terrain park under the Tamarack Express Chairlift called “Ante Up.” This true slopestyle park will be comprised entirely of Heavenly’s award-winning recycled features. This season, the Terrain Park Crew has gone back to the lab to create the most creative, urban-based jibs at Lake Tahoe. Ante Up is the only terrain park in the Lake Tahoe basin whose features will be 100 percent recycled, including tractor tires, water tanks, corrugated and snowmaking pipes. Ante Up will also be in full view of the new Tamarack Lodge – so jibbers will have to take their games to the next level!

And finally, by Christmas 2010, guests will be able to take advantage of the new EpicMix technology, an online and mobile application which will allow them to capture their ski and
