Mother Nature proved yet again that she’s a snowboarder, as a fast moving storm dropped between 6-12 inches of fresh snow at the Ski Lake Tahoe resorts in the past 24 hours. The storm should move out of here by Friday, returning us to seasonal temps. But in the meantime, those of us that live for winter are giddy with excitement. After all, there’s been talk of this winter being another La Niña year, and if this storm is any indication, there’s good reason to makes sure Lake Tahoe is in your ski and snowboard vacation plans.
So, if you haven’t started thinking about your winter vacation plans just yet, let this storm serve as a gentle reminder that the ski and snowboard season starts in a little over a month. We’re ready. Are you?
