After a relatively slow start to the season, it's beginning to feel a lot like winter at Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort. Sierra Resort is now open with top to bottom skiing/riding and has a plethora of events coming up to enjoy like the Gatorade Free Flow Tour, Wine Tastings in the Pub and Superpass presented by Snowboarder Magazine.
Anyway, enough for shameless event plugs… It seems this past storm didn't only bring snow back to the mountain but all our friends and family that makes Sierra Resort what it is. Riding up Grandview Express you could hear hoots and hollers echo throughout the resort from fellow snow enthusiasts enjoying another Sierra Resort powder day. In the lift lines people had perma-smiles from the pure excitement and joy of riding through deep snow.
We aren't quite sure what’s the key ingredient that keep people coming back, we'd like to think it's our friendly staff, amazing tree skiing, nationally ranked terrain parks, or laid-back atmosphere but either way, you should come join us. Family gatherings are always more fun with additional people (or at least we think so) and now that the snow has arrived and winter is back we want you to become part of the Sierra family.
Even if you aren't an avid skier or snowboarder yet, it's ok, we can teach to learn to ski/ride for only $35 or come hang out and enjoy tubing and snow play at Blizzard Mountain. Whatever your preference, we welcome everyone from first timers to Olympic and X Games medalists. Come enjoy the outdoors and let us help put a smile on your face. See you on the mountain!
