March is a month known for its generous storms, and is sometimes referred to as Miracle March. This year it definitely earned that title. Big storms hit Lake Tahoe last week, leaving between 50-109 inches (that's NINE FEET!) of snow at the Ski Lake Tahoe resorts!
The start of spring may be a few days away, but you'll find some of the best winter conditions of the season at Lake Tahoe, along with great values and a slew of fun events both on and off the mountain.
If you’re looking for values, why not check out some of the lodging packages offered by the ski resorts, including packages as low as $79 at Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe and $85 at Heavenly. And if it’s ticket deals you seek, look no further! From the 3-pak ticket at Sierra-at-Tahoe to the Tahoe Super 4 at Alpine Meadows and Squaw to Mt. Rose’s spring pass (valid for next season too), there are plenty of ways to save.
Great snow is just one reason to plan a Lake Tahoe ski vacation. Spring events are another, and Tahoe’s got them in spades! Upcoming events this month include the High-Up Fest at Kirkwood, Heavenly’s annual Spring Loaded, the Ability Challenge at Alpine Meadows, and the inaugural SnowBash at Squaw Valley. Hope to see you out there!
