Homewood Farm to Peak Dinner

Lake Tahoe is a stunning backdrop for so many recreational activities. But it’s also the perfect setting for a great meal. This weekend Homewood will be home to two unforgettable food events.

Homewood’s Farm to Peak dinner, on Saturday, August 9th, is a locally-sourced five-course menu prepared by guest chef Grog Verbeck. Guests are transported to a panoramic vista on top of the mountain via chairlift, where they will enjoy impressive views and exceptional cuisine in a unique setting. This weekend's menu features wines from the Schug Carneros Estate winery paired with dishes like wild mushroom and smoked Fontina phyllo purses and braised brisket.

The Farm to Peak dinner series is an event exclusive to Homewood, with two remaining events on August 9 and August 30. Each one-of-a-kind experience is $150 per person, with only a few reservations still available for the Aug. 9 dinner. Advance reservations are required.

Lakeside Champagne Brunch at West Shore
The saying goes that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It can also be the most scenice, especially if you head to Homewood's sister property, the West Shore Cafe and Inn, for the West Shore Champagne Brunch running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., August 8 – 10.

The menu options range from breakfast delicacies such as eggs benedict and fresh pastries to lunch options like a raw bar, salads, a cheese display and a dessert bar. For those who like a bit of kick with their brunch, there will be an add-on West Shore Bloody Mary bar, complete with garnishes including an assortment of pickled vegetables, cheeses, olives, mini onions and more.
