St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt at Northstar

Mar 13th 2012

Epic mix scavenger hunt

On Saturday March 17, Northstar California will hold their first ever St. Patrick’s Day EpicMix Scavenger Hunt & Après Party. The hunt starts at 1:30 p.m. and participants will hunt, compete challenges and solve St. Patrick’s Day riddles. Read on to find out what is in store.

The Big Hunt
Top o’ the mornin’ to ya. All participants must check in between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Northstar Ticket and Season Pass Office in the Village at Northstar California. When the hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. fellow EpicMixers will begin an on-mountain scavenger hunt, will complete challenges and of course celebrate ole St. Patrick. Who will be the first to find a shamrock? Additionally, riddles will allow you to unlock unique St. Patrick’s Day pins in various locations on the mountain helping improve your Epic Mix score.

Costumes
Dust off your greenest, St. Paddy’s style clothing and warm it up a little with some furry thermals, as this year, the most-striking and Irish inspired costume will be winning a prize. You need to be very green and very visible while you scavenge around the mountain. You should be seen from everywhere scooting around to find your pot-o-gold.

Après Party
After the big hunt is over, there will be a party held at the Lodge at Big Springs at mid-mountain where each scavenger will receive a free slice of pizza and a 14 ounce beer or soda. The party will have a raffle and will celebrate the greenness of St. Patrick’s Day in style. A pint of Guinness anyone?

Registration
Register in-person from 11:30am - 1:30pm in the Season Pass Office. Each registration includes access to the scavenger hunt, slice of pizza, and a 14oz. beer or soda at the Epic Après Party. Day of registration and check-in will be in the Northstar Tickets & Season Pass Office in the Village at Northstar.

$10 for one person
$15 for a couple
$25 for three to five people.

St. Patrick’s Day is by far one of the most enjoyable and lively celebrations and will hopefully bring you the luck of the Irish during the . I shall be there, head-to-toe in a shade of green that will make an Epic Mix photographer look dull and boring. If I don’t see you, it is only appropriate to end with an Irish toast and wish you a very happy St. Patrick’s.
