Beginner Pass at Mt. Rose

While spring technically doesn’t start for another week, our friends at Mt. Rose have begun the celebrations early with fantastic specials and events to complement the great snow conditions.

$399 Unlimited 2013-14 Spring Passes
Mt. Rose’s 2013-14 Spring Passes are now available. The $399 Adult Unlimited Pass can be used ANY DAY through the rest of this season and all of next with no blackout or void dates. It also comes with tons of perks. With new snow last week (and potential for more next week), the Unlimited Spring Pass is a deal you don't want to miss!

$149 Beginner Passes
Are you a beginner, or do you have a friend or family member you’d like to introduce to skiing and snowboarding? Mt. Rose is offering a terrific value with its $149 Beginner Pass. Open to ages 11+, this pass includes lift access to beginner chairs, free group lessons and free rental equipment.

New Wednesday We Eat Special
Mt. Rose understands that skiing and snowboarding works up an appetite, and they’ve got a creative solution. Purchase a $59 lift ticket on Wednesdays and they will throw in a FREE $20 food card. This special is only available online through skirose.com through the remainder of the season.

Besides the ski and snowboard deals, Mt. Rose has a number of fun events scheduled as well. In honor of St. Patricks Day this coming weekend (Mar 16-17), the resort will be celebrating with Irish beer and corned beef sandwiches. Bobo’s Spring Demo Day will be held on Sunday (Mar 17), offering all of the latest and greatest ski and snowboard equipment from 9 am – 2 pm in the Slide Bowl.

The Stake Your Claim Chutes Competition is also this weekend (Mar. 16). Open to advanced skiers and snowboarders ages 21 and over, this annual competition is a true test of skill and maneuverability in the famed Mt. Rose Chutes. Sponsored by the Alaskan Brewing Company, this day also marks the launch of the new Freeride APA. The first place prize is one ounce of Alaskan GOLD! Hope to see you out there!
