Known by many as a “snowboard” mountain, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort is excited to host the first ever Tanner Hall Invitational on March 30th. The event will bring 15 of the world's best skiers to Sierra Resort, including Tanner Hall. Hall is a world-class skier with multiple X Games medals who is regarded by many as one of the best all-around skiers in the world.
Ranked by TransWorld SNOWboarding as one of the best overall mountains in North America and home to snowboarding’s leading ladies, Hannah Teter and Jamie Anderson, Sierra Resort is stoked to show skiers what they are all about.
In conjunction with Snow Park Technologies, Sierra Resort will build a unique, first of its kind, feature that will incorporate a hip and quarterpipe. The contest will be a jam format with the athletes also serving as judges. The hip session will be an hour-and-fifteen-minute long jam session, followed by a quarterpipe jam session of the same length.
Skiers that will be joining the party include Henrik Harlaut, Phil Casabon, Sammy Carlson, Torin Yater-Wallace, Mike Hornbeck, Joffrey Pollet-Villard, Duncan Adams, and many more.
Bummed you can’t make it? Don’t worry, you won’t have to miss a single second. The contest will be broadcast on a live webcast at www.inspiredmedia.tv and www.tannerhall.com. Make sure to tune in!
